Information contained in this post is relevant to all farmers, not just tobacco producers. These materials will NOT be labeled for use in tobacco; however, they may be used on tobacco farms for weed control in cotton and soybean.

Growers planning to use the new auxin herbicide technologies for weed control in cotton and soybean are required to attend a training event held by Cooperative Extension and NCDA&CS. Information presented at the meeting will be focused to drift prevention, not weed control. Pesticide credits will also be offered. There are 33 training opportunities in North Carolina, please make arrangements to be at one. Specific information can be found in the embedded link.
