Livestock Basics 101- Program Series

— Written By

Are you looking to begin raising livestock but are not sure where to start? Are you looking to expand or diversify your existing farm but want to learn more first? Here is the program for you!

Livestock Basics 101 is for anyone looking to learn the fundamentals of owning and raising production animals. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend the business planning workshop and any of the species sessions that appeal to you!

Each species will have two classroom nights and a half-day farm tour. The classroom time will give you a chance to learn the basic material on paper, while the farm tour will demonstrate firsthand why what you learned in the classroom is important.
