Youth Inducted at NC 4-H Congress

— Written By

NC 4-H Congress was definitely different this year, but NC made sure our youth still were able to experience it in some manner. Rockingham County 4-H’s delegation included Keynon Settle, Caroline Ray, Alice Holmes, and 4-H Agent, Morgan Maness. Youth were engaged virtually by listening to speakers, participating in workshops, meeting their state officer candidates, having a 4-H dance party. They had a virtual county huddle and cast their county votes to elect their new state 4-H officers. They also had a special evening celebration to induct their new state 4-H council officers. Alice Holmes was inducted as the 2020-2021 North Central District Vice President and Keynon Settle was inducted as the 2020-2021 North Central District Secretary/Treasurer. We are so proud of our 4-Hers for participating in Congress even though it was a little different it was a lot of fun! Contact 4-H Agent, Morgan Maness for more information about Rockingham County 4-H at mcmaness@ncsu.edu or 336-342-8230. Rockingham County 4-H is a proud United Way Agency.
