Value-Added Food Education Class

Are you looking to add some new products to your farm stand or maybe freshly shucked corn? Or maybe you are interested in selling your homemade bread? This can seem like an intimidating task to take on, but we are here to help to you navigate that process!

Come join us at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Rockingham County Center on July 16th at 6pm-7pm for a free educational class about value-added products. We will discuss what is a value added product, safe practices, and requirements for selling: fresh produce, canned goods, dehydrated goods and more. This class is applicable whether you are already utilizing value added products or brand new! Participants will leave with a food safety certificate.
