Description:

The Avery County Agriculture Advisory Board will be hosting a community meeting for all Avery County farmers. The meeting will be held at the Crossnore Mountain Training Facility on March 1, 2019 beginning at 11:30 a.m. The meeting is geared towards educating “YOU”, the farmer, on the county Farmland Preservation Program and explaining the benefits of this program!

Also, on the agenda, will be the Avery County Cooperative Extension agents presenting programs on the pressing issues for Christmas Tree and Ornamental Growers; pesticide credits have been applied for.

Also, a sponsored lunch will be provided–FREE OF CHARGE TO THE ATTENDEES!
